Don't give up hope.  I had two miscarriages in 2010, bringing my total to three overall.  I waited two cycles and got pregnant again and I'm now 32 weeks.

After my first one last year, my RE did a bunch of genetic testing on me.  It turns out I have MTFHR.  So I had to start taking an extra folic acid supplement and baby aspirin.  I am so glad we found that out since this pregnancy has been nothing but healthy.

There can be a variety of reasons and some they can diagnose and treat easily. If you are seeing a fertility specialist, he should already be recommending testing for recurrent miscarriage.  If not, ask about it.  They'll know what to run for your circumstance.  If you are just seeing a regular OB, I would start looking for a specialist.

Wishing you the best of luck on your journey.
