Hi Im 25 and my husband and I are 15 weeks pregnant with our first also. I had the same concerns during my first trimester. i had alot of cramping like period pain and also in my legs. It is the uterus stretching to compensate for the little one growing. I had minimal morning sickness but I had and still do get a lot of headaches. I was told paracetemol based pain killer is ok (as least as possible) also. Im in Australia and I use panadol if I need too. Massage is also really helpful. I also see a pregnancy specialist chiropracter and that helps alot too.
I was really worried about having sex also and if excersise or anything can harm the baby. My doctor told me that you can do anything your body is used too. I swim and I perform on stage regularily as a singer in my city so I can still continue doing that because my body is used to it. Sex with us was a mission at first because I was hilariously paranoid about it but now I can relax a little. Baby will be kicking soon so Im sure Ill have the paranoia set in again soon haha :-)
If i can help in anyway just let me know - Best of luck and congratulations!

nothing serious with the headaches and some cramping is normal, as long as you don't have heavy bleeding or clots, etc with it.  It is safe to have sex while pregnant, however do not be alarmed if you notice spotting after sex.  Because there is so much more blood flow to the cervix, etc, sometimes women bleed a little after sex during the first trimester.  Walking is good for you and baby..i have never heard of walking too much being linked to miscarriage.  There are some exercises that should be avoided though.  rule of thumb...don't do anything that your body wasn't used to before pregnancy.  Meaning, don't go out and try to run 2 miles if you're not used to running.  I've heard that some things like sit ups and definitely weights should be avoided during pregnancy. Congrats!
