I had an ruptured ectopic 11/04 that resulted in the loss of my left tube, 4/05 I had an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) a test that the dr shot dye thru my uterus and thru the    tube(s) to make sure that there isn't any blockage. i conceived my daughter 9/05. I am now trying for another baby but after stopping birth control 12/07 my cycles became very irregular. I started taking maca and vitex in October and since then my cycles have regulated. now i too am playing the wait and see game each month. i bought my pregnancy tests online and have saved alot of money compared to the in store cost. so i won't go broke checking a couple of times a month. good luck. P.S. my dr has never mentioned taking fertility drugs just because i only have one tube.

Are you seeing an RE yet? If not, I would start there. He or she would be able to check your cycles and make sure you ovulate normally. Since you only have one tube, you might also consider taking clomid or femara to help you develop more than one follicle. That way you'll have a better chance of getting an egg on your "good" side. The meds would probably also help with the irregular cycles. Best of luck!
