has anyone had clomid prescribed for dh?
dh has had 2 SA both really low 4 & 5 million. the Dr prescribed clomid for him to take for 3 months. I just keep thinking if it makes me crazy for 5 days what will it do to him for 90 days!! We are having our 1st IUI done next week, we will be doing 2 of them, but the Urologist wants him to start the meds anyway just incase the IUI doesn't work.
The Dr did quite a bit of blood work on him but I wasn't there for his appt so of couse he didn't ask any questions. I guess I could call & try to ask questions but I'm not sure they will even talk to me about it.
Maybe to reduce estrogen? That is one of the effects of Clomid. Has he had hormone tests that show reduced male hormones as a causal factor for the low sperm count?
