Hi Marlene.

I will be doing lupron too. my first day of my menses should be the first or second day of August. so we r waiting til then. then of course b/w and schedule my mock transfer and pray that my uterus looks good and go from there. I am very excited! I am 39 and I have four children that I had successful pregancys with. I had a tubal done after my baby who is now 17. I remarried and now my husband of 5 years and I would love to start a new journey together and try to have a child of our own. We chose IVF/ICSI because they cant do a reversal on me. So we pray all goes well.

Hi! Congrats on ur ivf decision. My dh and I are doing ivf as well...

We are on a luteal plus 2 protocal. Which means I'll be supressing with lupron. We started bcp on 6/23 and I started lupron injections on 7/5. The injections so far are not that bad. I took the nurse's advice and numb the injection site with ice prior to and I don't feel the needle when it goes in. A little dizzy after the injection but I go to bed right after...
I take my last bcp tmrw but will continue lupron until dr says so. I go in on fri for b/w and u/s. If all comes back ok, I can start stims on fri...
Also, I started fertility acupuncture the same week that I started the bcp. I go for treatments 2x a week all the way thru the 2ww. Its been very wonderful :-)
Where are u in the process?

Xo,
Marline

Hi, Did they give you any Idea what your protocol was going to be? I've had Ivf and now I am doing a mini ivf. they are both different. The shots are no big deal. Hopefully your DH will give them to you. I for some weird reason couldn't do it to myself. I started in the beginning but after about 3 days I had some trouble but DH came through as always. You'll be just fine! do you have any specific questions?
SSBD,
Melanie
