iui/infertility medications

Me and my partner are going to start another round of iui in January. Gonna be using infertility injections. Have been doing some research n just curious which ones have you tried. And did they work?  On the last round i had great looking eggs but due to the clomid my lining wasnt thick enough. So nervous and excited for January to get here.

You need to check with your insurance on what is covered and what not.  With no insurance it could cost between 400 to 1500.  It just depend on which doc you went too.  My first iui was done by an obgyn.  It included sperm washing.  Cost me 371 if im not wrong.  But with my fertility specialist it can comes up to 1500 with no insurance coverage.  But after insurance deduction like blood test, semen anylysist it might cost me 550.

If clomid is thinning your lining, you need to stop.  I was in the same boat as you.  I switch doc.  From a obgyn to a fertility specialist.  I took letrozole and yes menopur shot too.  So far my eggs and lining were looking good.  We used timed intercourse.  No luck yet.  Going to try the same meds and iui next tho.  Talk to ur doc abt switching from clomid.
