Thank you for this info-you're quite right my dr has never heard of it and told me to bring any info on it when I see her next week! I don't expect she will let me have a go on it as it hasnt been proven to assist fertility in their eyes.
I'm willing to give anything a try as I do not ovulate so if I am refused will see if I can purchase smallest dose on internet like you can get clomid very easily. best wishes to you for your inspiration and good luck with rest of your pregnancy , melissaxx

If you are seing an OBGYN, most have not heard of using femara (letrozole) for fertility. It is a breast cancer drug. It has not been FDA approved to treat infertility issues.

I was seeing a RE and he put me on it and also did IUI with it.  I am now 12 weeks pg with Twins. It can and it does work! :)

When I went back to my OB for my prenatal care, she asked me what was done to get me pg and she said she had never heard of it....so that may be why.

Best of luck to you!!!!

Thank you for that, I have an app with dr to discuss femura helping me, anything to aid ovulation as I don't ovulate on my own. Also it sounds good as I had 3 failed rounds of ivf and my lining was probably thin to support a pregnancy(1st ivf ended in m/c) many thanks any other thought appreciated melissaxx

I also did femara, it doesnt overstimulate you and cause too many follicles or cysts, it also keeps your lining from thinning.  I did it first cycle and I am now 22w5dpg.  Good luck.
