Hi Wendy813!  Would it be OK if I joined?  I noticed your cd1 was March 1st, mine was March 2nd.  I finished up my Femara over the weekend (it's my 3rd cycle of that), so now we're just waiting to O.  I go for an ultrasound on Friday, so we'll see!  I completely understand your frustration.  We're approaching 2 yrs of TTC, so it's starting to feel like we've lost so much time!  Good luck with the Clomid.  I think they usually let you go up to 6 cycles, but I think having the hsg and lap is a very good idea.  I had an hsg about a year ago and it wasn't too bad.  Just some pinching and cramping, but it was worth it to get the peace of mind of knowing I was OK.  I don't go to an RE either (none in my area) and my OBGYN is good, but not too proactive, so it's frustrating too.

Hello everyone!!  Today is cd-13 for me.  No surge yet but maybe today.  I am leaving for Vegas next week.  Maybe this will take my mind off the tww.  I have been reading a book called The Infertility Diet.  It is awsome.  It says that yams work like clomid and also wheat germ.  I have been trying it.  I hope it works.  Also i read a study about organic foods helping with infertility.  Everyone left me know what cd your own so we can support each other.  Anyone had opk yet?

Hi.  I was just thinking that we needed to revive this thread!  I am cd12 today and got my positive OPK on cd13 last month, so I'm hoping to see it soon.  I actually go for an ultrasound first thing tomorrow morning and it's my first one since starting the Femara.  I'm really praying that I have some nice big follies!    I've heard of that Fertility Diet book and it always seemed interesting to me, so I may have to buy one.  It really makes you wonder because it seems like a lot of people have trouble getting pregnant these days.  It has to be either something that's added to the food we eat or the chemicals used in our products, like shampoos, lotions, etc.  So, does anyone else have any updates?  Good luck to you all!!

i agree with you, i think we have too many chemicals these days added to everything to make like easier.  The truth is, there are side effects.  I am trying to eat healthy lately.  and see what it does.  Hope it will give me BFP

I just got a positive OPK.  I am more opptomistic this month than i have been.  I hope we all get BFP this month.

Candie-  I will be thinking about you tomorrow and hope you have a couple nice BIG follicles.  Let us know how it goes.  I will be happy to send you the book when I finish reading it if you would like.  Message me your address.
