I looked through some stuff on the internet and looks like most of the successful pregnancies had an initial beta of over 60.  Usually when they were in the 20s or 30s there was a miscarrage (spontaneous abortion) but it depends a lot on when the dr tests, and the doubling is the tell tale sign.  Good luck!!!  Sorry I wasn't more help!

So sorry I misunderstood you.  I am personally not familiar with it, but since the lab doesn't do a lot of HCG investigation (moreso the clinical staff) I am not surprised I have never heard of it.  I will poke around the old internet a little bit and if I come up with anything I will let ya know!

Good luck!!

rrgghh i have responded twice and neither went through!

yes (minimally)  that is what I am asking
I mean I have seen the charts all over the web
BUT this was a study that linked certain numbers on certain days past trasnfer with success rates of the pregnancy (even going to 100 percent) so I was wondering if you were familiar with study since I can;t find it
thanks again

So are you asking me what good betas are on those days?  That is where I think I am getting confused.

sorry we call hcg "betas"

so at day 9 and 11
or 10 and 12
(days post transfer)

etc - I mean I can;t remember the days BUt it gave the days of betas (or hcg)  then it gave the success ratesin their study

thanks for trying

What numbers do you mean?  Sorry I am not sure what your question is.  Do you have the website?

"after two betas - what are the chances of success based on those betas for example

day 9 or 10
day 11 or 12
day 13 or 14
etc? "

What betas do you mean?  Sorry if I am totally missing your question.

first of all thanks
well this particular study said women with these numbers went on to have successful pregs
these numbers were 80 percent successful etc

after two betas - what are the chances of success based on those betas for example

day 9 or 10
day 11 or 12
day 13 or 14
etc?
thanks so much
I guess it was just over a year ago I found it but don;t remember where

I am just looking for chances of success after two good betas

I have already had two IVF where igot betas and no success - first one betas more than doubled and no hearbeat next one betas didn;t double correctly so at least I expected that one

Hey there!  I think any comfort you can find is worth looking into.  What kind of ideas are you asking for?  I am not quite sure what I can due to help you.  We always like to see the 2nd beta before we confirm a pregnancy, and then sure do like to wait until the ultrasound for the ultimate celebration, but negatives usually come back <2 but we retest everything 2 days later to confirm.
