Welcome to the forum.
I'm so sorry about your miscarriage.
I had one in February and an ectopic last year so I know how you feel..
2.5 weeks its a very short time. You need to give a little more time to your body to recover.
It took me 6 weeks to have my first period (2 weeks after my HCG went back to zero).
is your Dr monitoring your HCG?
Keep us posted and good luck!
Miky
Hi and welcome to the forum! I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I've had two myself, so I know how devastating it can be :-( If it's only been 2.5 weeks since your miscarriage, you probably have to wait a little longer to see if you get your period. The reason for this is that your HCG levels will first have to come back down to below 5 (which is considered not pregnant), and once that happens, you will ovulate again, and it's not until two weeks after ovulation that you could expect your period again.
After my last miscarriage, it took about 2 weeks for my levels to come back down, and then another 2 weeks to get my period. So my first period came about 4 weeks after the miscarriage. Some women have to wait even longer than that, though, so I'm sure that's why your doctor wanted you to come back around 5 weeks after the miscarriage.
Again, I'm so sorry about your loss. I hope your body gets back on track again soon, so you can start trying again!
