negative HPT on day 10

Hi All,

I am on my day 10 of 2ww. I took an HPT today and it came negative. my heart is sinking....Does that mean ......
Can someone please help me....Is there anything i can do.

not strong enough to try it again,,,, will wait till my blood test....which is scheduled this Monday.

heaviness in your tummy canbe an early sign, it lmost feels like you period is about to come and never does, or it can feel like your normal period cramps before your period starts (if you have them) and some experience tender boobs as well, all small positive signs especially if you dont usually have these symptoms before you get your period :)

Dear Heather,

I want to thank you and all others for their kind support.
I am undergoing IVF treatment and had my 3day ET (4 embryos) on 9th of May.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping you all are right and its too early.
But another thing thats bothering me is I dont have any signs or symptoms...except my breasts feel sore. and i feel a slight heaviness in my abdomen.
Please advice if that means something.

if its a natural cycle, as the others have said its very early, implantation can take from 7-10 days past ovulation, the odd ones that do test positive by 10 dpo would have implanted around day 7, you usually test around when your period is due/ at the end of your luteal ph

Just wanted to check...is this a regular cycle or an IVF cycle? If it's a regular cycle (with or without meds, IUI, etc), and you're only 10 days past ovulation, it's VERY early to test. If it's an IVF cycle and you're 10 days past transfer, it might be a different story, but things can still affect the outcome, like whether  it was a 3 or 5 day transfer and what brand of pregnancy test you used.

Dont give in, miracle can happen! And other ladies are right, 10days test is too early in some women. Im not strong enough to do the hpt. First i got no sign of prego. My boobs are slowly not sore after day4-5p transferred. I guess its a bad news-but i still keeping my tiny hope up. And i cant face the negative result yet. I told myself to wait til i finish my 2ww and just go for the blood test which is tomorrow.

just give it a few more days it just might be to early ur body just might not have picked it up yey dnt lose faith yet hunny but i no exactly how u r feelin i have felt like that many times but dnt lose hope not yet xx

10 dpo is way too early to worry about a negative test. Very few get a positive that early. I would wait a few more days and test again! Best of luck!
