I too have experienced those same symptoms and everything I read says it can be due to the progesterone. Last year after my fresh cycle, I was absolutely positive I was pregnant because I was having food aversions, cravings, etc. But it was negative. I just had my frozen transfer this past Monday and am going through even more symptoms than last time....nausea, irritability (off the chart at times) and severe mood swings. Like you, I can't help but wonder what is going on. If only there was that one tell tale sign! Good luck to you!
I have used progesterone sup's as well in conjuction with IUI. I know they are worth it to help implantation, but i absolutley hate the side effects.
They make me feel pregnant every month, i have swollen boobs, low uterine ache - like i had when pregnant for the first few weeks, extra sense of smell, nausea, tiredness, mood swings, really anything you can get when pregnant for me seems to come out on progesterone.
Also it can make AF late, mine last time was 5 days later - as i did not wish to pay for a serum PT as thats way to expensive so i had to wait it out until day 18 post IUI to be absolutely sure, and then once i stopped progesterone as i still had a BFN, it took a further 3 days for AF to come to town.
The above symptoms does not mean you are not pregnant, just that the drugs can and do wreak havoc with guessing what symptoms are real and what are not.
I am learning nowdays to ignore them all, stop hoping and be surprised when it happens, or i would go nuts with the disappointment each month.

didn't want to leave you ladies hanging....I took another test yesterday morning and it was BFP!!! So I guess the smell issues were from pregnancy! Now I just have to hope and pray this little bean sticks for another 8 months or so!
thanks so much for your comments!
Congratulations!!!! That is fantastic! Good luck to you and your little one! I go for my first beta test tomorrow. Feeling so much better physically, but the nerves are starting to kick in again today. Thanks for keeping in touch....again, congrats!!!
How wonderful! Congratulations:)
