uterine adhesions and pregnancy

mhv
I am wondering if anyone on here has had a history of uterine adhesions and still had a successful pregnancy?  I am getting ready to have a second hysteroscopy and am feeling a little unsure of my fertility chances.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

I actually ended up going to Califonia to the best "uterine doctor" pretty much in the the world.  His name is Dr. Charles March, and he is fantastic!  I actually just received the green light from him to ttc at the beginning of April, and am in the process of getting things lined up to do a transfer.

There is always hope!  You can join the ashermans. org sight and there are tons of knowledegable women on there and tons of support.   There are a handful of adhesion specialist around the world, and I highly suggest seeking one out if at all possible (to avoid having to have 3 surgeries like me).  I can actually give you Dr. March's email if you would like it.  Believe it or not, you can email him your situation for free, and he will discuss things with you and give you suggestions on what he thinks you can do.  Yes, again, it is free!

Please let me know if I can help in any way!

Hi, I was wondering if you have a update? I my self have had three miscarriages and one ectopic. During my surgery for the ectopic they found lots of adhesions. I'm scared to go back for a follow up. I guess I will ask the question again......has any one had a successful pregnancy w/ external uterine adhesions?

Thanx--
Carolyn

Wow... What a journey.  Have you seen the same specialist the whole time or have you switched?  I never knew how serious Asherman's can be... but I think i have a lite case.  On my last transfer, my uterus we over 8mm, and from what I can find, that is awesome with Asherman's.  I wonder what the difference between Asherman's and Endometriosis is?  This stuff is so maddening!!!  Why can't we just get pregnant and have a child! UGH!  WE WILL SOMEDAY!!!

I've been going to specialist for over 14 yrs.  I've had every test that they can think of just to come back as unexplained, everything looks great so they are confused about what is causing me to m/c each time.  My last m/c was Mar this year, I got pregnant in Jan but it took 6 weeks for the levels to come back to normal.

I wish you all the luck and hope that in July everything goes well for you and you get a BFP.

I'm on my 2nd round of clomid and taking mucinex along with Evening primrose oil to help out.  Hoping that this month may be better than last month.  So far everything looks better.

I am soooooo sorry to hear about all of your miscarriages!  Does he have any idea what is causing them?  Have they done any procedures or tests? I had a m/c last Aug, and that when my RE decided to to an hystopscopy.  I did that in Oct, had a Sonohysogram in Jan and it was all clear.  Started with a new RE in May and he did another Sonyhystogram and found 1 band.  Now, I have to go in for another Hyseroscopy, but the RE says it won't slow down my timeline and that we should be right on track for a July FET.  I just need some reassurance that I can concieve and carry to term.

I haven't had any sucess in carrying to term however I have severe endometriosis with adhesions. I've been able to get pregnant 8 times however I have miscarried them all.   My RE doesn't feel the endometriosis or adhesions had anything to do with my miscarriages though.
