Prominent endometrium (11mm)

I'm having irregular period since then so I decided to consult an ob-gyne again and she requested me to do some ultrasound. And now, I got the pelvic ultrasound report but I'm a bit worried bout it cause it says I have an intact but THICKENED ENDOMETRIAL STRIPE (11mm), nevertheless all the other findings were normal. The impression says PROMINENT ENDOMETRIUM. I'm worried about the result... Is this still normal since I'm also expecting to have my period 4 days after I did the ultrasonography? Pls help me if you have any idea cos my ob-gyne is still in an out-of-town trip. Thank you very much!

I am not a doctor so can't tell you what those comments might mean, but based on my own experience the thickness of your endometrium seems normal. Mine is always thin right after my period (about 3 mm) then gets thicker up until ovulation. They like to see it around 10-12 around ovulation, and then it remains thick until you get your next period. Best of luck to you.
