I really like those Japanese Teaposy teas. They are extremely low caffiene fine white tea leaf teas with florals added. They bloom when hot water is added. www.teaposy.com
They have homeopathic benefits too.
Enjoy!
I use Agave sweetner by the way, from cactus. It is recommended for diabetics because it doesn't cause the sudden rise and fall of glucose. Plus the taste is a cross between sugar and honey. Mild.
I have found that I can't even think of any soda, whether they are regular or diet. They all make me feel lousy. Diet sodas are worse. And, they taste like chemicals, too. They're not good for people anyway. I don't drink much of anything, other than water.
Did you hear that the FDA has approved yet another fake sugar based on stevia? True, stevia in a powder form has already been on the market, but now the FDA is approving of it being added to things like diet sodas and other diet "foods". Everything that I've already learned about stevia in its natural state says that this is a huge mistake that's going to backfire, just like all the other chemical sweeteners. Did you know that stevia in its natural state can still lead to health problems? I think stevia on its own already tastes like chemicals. It irritates my GERD, too. I don't like it and won't use it either.
All sugar replacements are worse for us than real sugar is. Since I don't tolerate real sugar or the natural sugars, like honey, I simply don't use ANY sweeteners in my food or drink. I have found that I can drink rooibos tea OCCASIONALLY, and it tastes fine without any sweeteners in it. Rooibos with vanilla tastes a lot better than plain rooibos.
No Diet sodas, lite yogurts, lite ice cream, sugar free desserts, or low calorie products. All have artificial sweetners.
I also like coffee. And believe it or not, I'll choose Dunkin Donuts Coffee over Starbucks any day !
I may have one pop a year, I really don't like them. I have to be very thirsty & have no other options before I drink a pop, diet or other.
Same here, what Breeze said. I drink a lot of water and coffee is my poison......:)
I stopped because I think the sweeteners are poison.
Yeah, what VaBreeze said. :)
I stopped drinking any type of carbonated drinks. I may have one once in a blue moon. They tend to make me bloat and cause indigestion. Same with orange juice.
I can't drink the stuff....to me, diet sodas taste sour and have a chemical flavor that makes me sick to my stomach... aspartame perhaps? I really try to not drink any sodas these days unless when I eat out (rarely) or am at a celebration of some kind.
