Im Wondering If I Might Have Fibro?

I'm 32 and male. I recently had a scare with a lump under my nipple. It put me thru alot of stress going thru all the tests and Waiting!!! And now I have neck, back, and chest pain . I have these little palpable spots on my stomach, (from the rib cage down to my waste and on my sides), thay hurt from time to time throughout the day and if you press on them. They seem to be symmetrical to each other on both sides of my body. They feel like a not about the size of a pencil eraser. If any of you have any info on what this is Please tell me!!!   God Bless You!!!

Hey Patsy, there is a new post labled simply, Fibromyalgia. Check it explains our symtoms and yes it definatly sounds like FMS to me. Pretty much ***** but hay there worse things, I think. I've had pain for years but just figured that it was normal. It seems to have progressively gotten worse over time. I guess we just have to educate orselves on how to best deal and treat our bodies the best we can. Good Luck and God Bless......

No I haven't.  I've mentioned them before though and was told it was "neuralgia".  I have them on my legs too.  My palpable lymph nodes are small and normal.  My ribs in the back have seemingly permanent soreness in areas to the point where I will jump if they are touched.  These are not the typical FMS tenderpoints though I have those too and much more.

The only place that you have palpable, (lump that can be felt), lymph nodes are in the arm pit. above the clavicals, in the neck, and in the groin area. The rest of you nodes are inside your body. They would have to get huge to feel them. It is interesting that you have this symtom though. I haven't been able to find anyone with these exact symtoms. I do also have tender spots on my ribs. Have you had a physician determin that these were lymph nodes?

I have those all over my chest and ribs.  They come and go.  I think they are lymph nodes.  But I don't know for sure.  They don't feel like the ones on my neck.   They are much smaller.  Those aren't the typical tenderpoint areas.  My symptoms are probably related to lyme disease.
