What causes the sharp pains in my stomach?

I was told in Januray 9, 2009, that i was diagnosed with fatty liver. I've had ever since last year. I told them that i've been having sharp pains in my stomach and they told me they didn't know what it is. They took a sonagram and found bubbles in my stomach. I constantly stay constipated. The doctors gave me Docusate Sodium so that i can use the bathroom. I don't know what are the sharp pains in my stomach are caused by. And i need you help. Can you tell me what it is?

Hi, I'm a nutritionist, not a nurse.  However, I would recommend you have a test called a Heidelberg Gastrogram (google this).  Find a holistic doctor that does this.  He will also treat your liver problem naturally.  In fact, an herb called "Milk Thistle" is what you should be on.  It heals liver problems.  Find the book, "Miracle Cures" by Jean Carper.  And read about milk thistle in this book.  It will tell you the studies that have been done on it, what type to buy,how much to use, etc.  And cut out all saturated fat from your diet.  Saturated fat is in all animal products.  It's in all meats (cow, bison, chicken, turkey, etc.) and all dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.).  If you must drink milk, switch to soy milk.  Also, you can have fish and sea food, but no other animal flesh.  Also cut out junk food (candy, cake, cookies, potato chips, etc.)  Good luck!

Hi..sorry u have such discomfort.
Sometimes the intestines can go into spasams......u may need an antispasmotic.

Or u may need an antacid to be rid of the gas "bubbles" u mention.

I am not a dr and am not sure .....what all is going on and y ur dr could not offer u some other form of relief.
