Post nissan Fundoplication problems

585
I cannot sleepor rest on my back without couphing my guts out.  Is this from Nissan Fundoplication?   Yesterday in recliner I tipped my head back for 20 minutes.   For the next 14 hours off and on I almost passed out from the couphing.   Everything else wasthe same as the last two months.   I also would couph 10 minutes after eating breakfast.   I started showering right after getting out of bed in the morning and eating standing up.   That seems to help.   Have seen allergists, pulmonary specialists, E.N.T, people, and Gastro specialists.   No one has any answers. Could the Bravo procedure have missed something?

That's really strange that you are having problem.  Could it be perhaps what you are eating?  I had the procedure done twice - the first time I couldn't eat for 6 months as I threw up all the time, so they needed to do it again.  I have recently started coughing, but realised I cough when I overeat or if I eat something I am not supposed too.  Have you tried eliminating certain stuff from your diet?  Hope you get sorted.
