Hi Cherly and welcome.
Eating a non-acidic diet will help with reflux. I am a firm believer that diet is mainly the cause of reflux. Either an allergy or irritation, and it's only some of the times or partly a sphincter problem. If it's a sprincter problem, it can be controlled with diet. Eat more raw foods (veggies) and stay away from acidic foods like coffee and sugar. Eat only alkaline or neutral foods. http://www.rense.com/1.mpicons/acidalka.htm

You can reference in the health pages some info on diet for reflux .. this is actually the pediatric gerd community but I'm glad to help you!
We have a Dr. Expert Forum where maybe they can help, too!
