3 months of pain, nausea, vomitting and now leg problems

I have been having mild to severe pain in my upper right abdomen for since mid-October. The first day I was simply dizzy, the second day I was dizzier and then had violent diarrhea and vomiting, which lasted a few hours. After that the constant abdominal pain set it and hasn't gone away since.

Some days I feel pretty good and can do everyday things, but more often I can't even get up. It is always accompanied by nausea, is usually worse after eating (any kind of food seems to hurt), and sometimes involves vomitting. Antacids make things worse. Sometimes other parts of my abdomen hurt, as well as my lower back. The whole area is very tender. My bowel movements have generally been normal. It has completely worn me out, so after being up for a few hours I am tired again. I've also been experiencing a lot of hives, especially on my face and neck/chest.

I have had ultrasounds of upper and lower abdomen, which were good, although they spotted something on my liver. An MRI revealed this to be some sort of scarring that is apparently normal for women taking oral contraceptives (which i take), and shouldn't be bothering me. Bloodwork and urine tests were also normal.

I went to see a specialist and she started me on nexium, but things have gotten worse while we've been playing phone tag. Yesterday I was violently ill again, just like the first week, but this time my legs went all numb and tingly and I couldn't get around without help. The room was spinning.

Today the pain is still there, stabbing, and I just tried to get up and suddenly i started having a throbbing pain in my right leg, esp around the ankle, and couldn't stand. maybe the leg pain is from being in bed too much? im not sure.

I just am so tired of being sick and in pain all of the time. I would appreciate any idea of what might be wrong with me. please help!

i am seeing a gastroenterologist but she's impossible to get a hold of. i'm seeing some other dr tomorrow.

i'm pretty sure if it was appendicitis i'd already be dead. also the tests came back normal for that and for the gallbladder. thanks though.

You need to see a Gastroenterologist for further evaluation, and to rule out gall bladder problems.  Also, appendicitis can cause right leg pain, have they checked you for this?
