Abdominal & Chest Pain 4 mos. after Car Accident

I was in a car accident 4 months ago (I was rear ended hard while stopped at a red light) and have had abdominal pain from urethra to ribs that varies in intensity ever since.  I've had 2 MRIs and a CT scan. I have had abdominal and chest spasms so strong that I went to the ER and had an EKG.  (They sent me home with meds for gastritus.)  Last week a new doc checked my CT and found an accesory hepatic artery that seemed to be pooling at my liver.  He wants a better CT which I will do this week.  Could this be causing my pain? What could it be? How will they fix it?

Hey Jellafish.

I have survived two major accidents in my life.
In one, someone ran the red light (mine was green). Left me with broken spleen and a broken kidney and a bunch of cracked ribs. I made a full recovery with no medical intervention.
In the other, I was on a motorcycle.  A car coming down this mountain road,
with sharp and twisting turns, could not negotiate the turn-too much speed-
and cut me off completely. I actually had an  N.D.E. then.
From the scene that I "observed " from up above, my lifeless body was a real mess. Blood all over the pavement, my skull cracked open and this long piece of metal, having penetrated my left leg at the knee and out from the back of my leg.
Any ways, I made a complete recovery, without any medical intervention!
Managing to step off the hospital bed and able to walk, left the surgeon assigned to my case speechless!  This event sure changed my life.

Your situation medically is very complex for most people to understand.
There are numerous accessory arteries with variable anatomy and if you want
  to have an idea, here's a link : http://www.anatomyatlases.org/AnatomicVariants/Cardiovascular/Text/Arteries/Hepatic.shtml
At the end of the Text there are a lot of images and should you have a copy of the CT,
you can attempt to match it with one of the images that resembles yours best.

Personally, I use Mosby's Textbook of Anatomy and Physiology, by Anthony and Kolthoff.
In this case, due to its complexity, only the anatomy atlases website, may provide some
useful info regarding your case.
As I'm not able to offer anything else at the physical and anatomical level,
allow me to suggest something at another level. (you have every right to question
all this that follows, but please keep an open mind)

From what I "Know", however, Healing is within ourselves.
There are structures that the logical and conscious mind does not "get" as it deals predominantly  with  common knowledge and experiences. Anything outside that,
judged as unknown is usually deemed impossible, illogical or simply "off the wall".
Our connection through Spirit to our Higher Self (Universe, God) allows us to tap into
some extra-ordinary powers -and what we able to experience, some may call, miracles.

Is you are interested in more details , please post at the alternative therapies,
(as this is not an appropriate part of the forum-forum rules) or message me directly.

I'm just another ordinary person with a very different experience. And from that experience
I gained knowledge that few people possess. May be it can be of help to you.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta
