Light brown may still be a sign of lack of the bile. If by your intuition, you don't think its gallbladder, then you may want to limit diet fibers somewhat, and, hm, what about milk...if you exclude ANY dairy, actually anything containing lactose (like beer) for two days, it may help (in the case you're lactose intolerant).
Again......thanks. The stool is actually a light brown, almost bright, I am negative for H-Pylori. My Gastro Doctor put me on Hyoscyamine, and Protonix. I'll talk to him about the tests you suggested.
I had an MRI of my liver and lower abdomen which showed no abnormalities. Then I had an Ultra sound. They both showed no Gallbladder distension.
Fibers may cause your stool more lose than you want. Just for info.
Pain on empty stomach is typical for a duodenal ulcer, which is mostly caused by H. pylori. You may want to have a breth test for it.
Clay color (we are talking abot grey, colorless stool, here?) is from the lack of the bile in stool, which is due to bile flow blockage - either in the biliary duct or within the liver. Gallbladder diseas can cause (but not necessary) cramping pains on the right side under the rib cage after a fatty meal.
Recommended tests:
1. Hemoccult - for blood in stool (from ulcer)
2. Stool fat test for unabsorbed fats due to lack of the bile
3. Ultrasound of the gallbladder/liver to check for gallstones.
Thanks for taking the time to answer. The stool is slightly darker than clay color. The first movement when I first get up is normal. Then the breakfast triggers a diarrhea type movement, I do get a lot of fiber from diet., but that does not explain the stomach pain. I think I'm getting over a peptic ulcer, beccause my stomach always hurts when it's empty.
Lose stool you have is probably from the food from the day before, and not from the breakfast you've just eaten. Having a bm after a breakfast is normal, and actually the desirable thing. It's a consequence of a gastro-colic reflex: Food coming into the stomach, triggers peristalsis in the colon.
What is the color of stools? Would you call these lose stools a diarrhea? Lose stools may be from a lot of fibers, from anxiety. You sems to ingest a lot of fibers.
