Anal sex

I am a twenty year old gay male and I recently had anal sex. About an hour after I was feeling pain sort of in my kidneys...I have kidney stones...it was sort of that pain, though I don't think the pain was my kidneys. I also experienced blood in the first bowel movement after, intense chills/shivers, tightness...sort of like I was flexing my abdominal area, uncontrollable twitching in my abdominal area, and pins and needles in my hands. I sort of felt like I had been drugged cause I was a little disoriented. I accidentally feel asleep while laying down...I didn't want to just in case it was serious, or I had internal bleeding, but when I woke up in the morning, it was gone. Until a few hours later while I was at work. The shivers and twitching were gone, I just had pressure and pain in my abdominal area. I also experienced a few seconds of sharp pains in my pelvic area. I am very worried. I just moved out of my parents house, so I have no insurance, so I don't know what to do. Please! I need advice!

Hi,  Not a medical expert, but I think that contrary to judge-y comments, anal sex can be pleasurable and safe.  Tons of people, gay and straight, enjoy it!  If you have a contrary experience with lasting symptoms, try to find a gay-friendly doctor to speak to.  If finding an open-minded doc is not possible, work up a little more courage and maybe go see a different doc for a onetime opinion.  For anal, I find that knowledge, relaxation, LUBE, and protection is key!  Don't accept judgmental stances and best of luck!!!

hi, i think you could have perforated your diverticular, your lifestyle is your business, but medically speaking anal sex is probably one of the most damaging things you can do to your rectum, rectums are not made for sex, anyway try taking over the counter pain killers for a couple of days, if the symptoms persist then go straight to e.r.
