Attacks in stomach after Gallbladder removal

I had my gallbladder removed in 1/18/2009 date now is 5/06/2009 3wks after removed I started having I call them attacks in my stomach upper stomach burning cramping I cant talk or move it hurts so bad. Gastro Dr put me on Hyomax, and some other elavil medicine. Why is this happening I never had this problem until my gallbladder was taken out? After these attacks I feel nausious, very sleepy, dizzy shooting pains all over my body all day, takes me awhile like a week to bounce back. I just had a CT done w contrast, and Barrium. Dr saids he is pretty sure it will be normal. I ask Dr. why am I having these attacks after gallbladder removed? He said I dont know. Please can someone tell me what it could be and why????? Test ran before gallbladder removed, (colonoscopy,CT,MRI,endoscope,x-ray. No test after gallbladder removed except blood test to check my liver, it was normal.

Hey i had my gallbladder removed in March 2008 and I was having like major stomach pains i would have sweat beads pop out  on my head and everything when the pains would start after i ate and i was running to the bathroom after i would eat. my gastro put me on Dicyclomine 3 x a day 30 mins before eating which helped a little but not completely and then i started feeling exhausted from the pains and running to bathroom so i went back last week and had a list made out of everything i was going through and he put me on this powder mix called Cholestyramine 1 scoop mixed with 4 to 6 ounces of water which I have been taking at night time and OMG in the last 6 days no stomach pains when i eat and no running to the bathroom  he wanted me to call his office back to let him know how it is working this coming week and i cant wait to tell him. He said the reason for the pain is because of the bile running over into the stomach and mixing with the food and with the powder it binds it together and stops the explosions (i used to call them in the stomach) the 2 meds together are working great and i am feeling alot better

I just had my gallbladder out in November, 2008 and having teribble pain. I also had a Nissen done for a second time during the same procedure, so I am not sure where the pain stems from. I am now starting to see my Dr.(who performed these surgeries) and he will be running tets, etc. So far nothing is showing up................but the pain sure is there.....Good luck with your journey.
