Does a CT Colonography detect a thickened ileum?

Yes, a CT colonoscopy should be able to show thickening of the inner lining of the ileum/ mucosa.

My CTC was clear, and later a sigmoidoscopy with biopsy showed Crohn's disease. So it is possible that I have Crohn's only in my large bowel since the CTC axial images did not show disease in the terminal ileum?
