I am in so much pain, abdominal. But I am also very constipated. And if I tale Motrin I get really big blood clots. Out the butt. I'm currently taking prednisone because my rectum blow up like a balloon. And now my legs are killing me

Ulcerative colitis, also on a drug called Azathioprine 50 mg. prednisone40mg and sulferzalozine 3pills 3x a day plus Hydrocortizone suppository s.

What form of colitis have you been diagnosed with? What meds are you on besides prednisone? What has your doc suggested?

You might ask about low-dose naltrexone.  Maybe it could be substituted for the prednisone.  It has to be mixed at a pharmacy.  It is not covered by insurance, but costs about $40 a month.
