Are her stools bulky and fatty/greasy in any manner? Has the odor changed? If so you might want to consider pancreatitis problems. Have they checked both her liver enzymes and pancreatic enzymes?
Thanks CalGal. There is no sign of steattorhoea or foul smelling stools. She is more settled this morning but has given a couple of coughs which don't bode well for the day. Thanks again. B.
What it brings to mind is when Barry Marshall did the first 'tests' on himself of H. pylori. The reports on that 'study' say that within a week of 'drinking' H. pylori, he was bringing up copious amounts of clear liquid.
I hope you'll soon have an answer.
CalGal,
Hi. She's a little more settled since last night (I think we're in different time zones). I gave her an antihistamine - which I know sounds weird but it's harmless and she suffers from periodic severe urticaria. I want to see if it makes any difference. She's been rubbing her right ear as if she has an irritation there. To me this doesn't look like a food allergy, but with my daughter you just never know; she has a whole big bag of tricks in there. I'll let you know if we come up with a definite solution of any kind. Of course we are still waiting for the blood results and we have to also get a stool sample.
B.
