Dangerous to cut zofran tablet?

Hello,

I am currently taking Zofran 4mg. I realize it's a pediatric dose but i would like it to go even lower at 2mg. Is it dangerous to cut the zofran tablet or can I go ahead and do that?

I mean like can i cut the tablet? you know how some medicines should not be cut?

Yes can be dangerous,im not a dr. But my 11 yr. Daughter use zofran during radiation. U should ask ur dr. For my girl they decrease dose gradually.

I misunderstood your question. I suppose you meant - to physically cut the pill. You can do that too, although 2 mg may not be enough (depends on your body) to achieve what it states it does.

Not dangerous at all. You can cut it anytime you wish. I can elaborate if you want to know more...
