Digestive Problems

Over the past few months, I've had recurring stomach and digestive issues. I'm an 18 year old male in pretty good shape and no prior history of digestive problems.

My stomach will cramp up really bad, to a point where I can't eat anything until it passes. At other times, I feel the need to use the restroom but instead I get blood mucous coming out. I've never had this until a few months ago it started occurring.

I don't know whats wrong! When I tell my dad about it he just tells me I ate something rough or to take imodium, and I don't enjoy going to the doctor so I take his advice and do nothing. However this is becoming a problem. Please help!

Couldn't really find rules, didn't know if "Bumping" was allowed since my question is disappearing. I was hoping to have an answer soon!
