Disturbing bowel movements.... HELP! :(

About three weeks ago I began having really weird bowel movements. They floated and were almost entirely made up of fat. Also, they didn't smell like the average raunchy smelling stool.. It's almost impossible for me to describe the smell, but if I was to give it a shot they almost kinda smell like uncooked meat.. I know disgusting.. Well anyway along with that I have been experiencing a large amount of mucus in my stools as well..

Several years ago I was diagnosed with IBS and last year in January was hospitalized with bleeding ulcers that robbed my body of precious blood; I needed four bags of blood. As far as the IBS goes I've never been very proactice about lifestyle/eating changes to manage the IBS. The bleeding ulcers healed and I have never taken NSAIDS since for chronic back pain.

Recently a doctor informed me that caffeine in high doses can worsen ulcers or inflame stomach lining. I was on fat burning pills and an intense workout regimen. At my heaviest I was 275.. I am currently at 175-180 on average. Before I lost the weight this last time I had plateaued at about 230. As I said above I have had chronic back pain that has been caused by two bulged disks in my lower back and one in my neck. Without being able to take NSAIDS I was prescribed, Norco10 (for pain), Robaxin (to relax spasms) and xanax to help me sleep.. These meds I was on for about 8 to 10 months until about a month ago. Has this helped to create the problem? Is my body detoxifying? What the heck is going on? If you need more info on my case to come up with an informed idea on whats ailing me just ask.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, I can only try be of some help.
The bowel movements you have are the same i am having. Its called Steatorrhea. Mine is caused by pancreatitis. Google it and see what all the causes are. ussually weight loss goes with the steatorrhea, because your body cant absorb fats and starches. But again, do look this up and see for your self.

I hope i have been of some help. I do imagine the strong and prolonged use of all those medicines cannot be good for the body either.
