In need of some real answers for my 7 yr. old autistic son

I was initially told by the Dr., following upper and lower GI, that my 7 year old son had "infectious" gastritis as well as eosinophilic esophagitis. Later that afternoon we received prescriptions for Amoxicillin, Metronidazole, and Omeprazole.  After the weekend the nurse phoned me the pathology results, but couldn't see any answer as to what the cause of his gastritis was. However it did state Moderately Acute Gastritis H. Pylori not detected. I already had scheduled an allergy test for Wed. He tested allergic to yeast (and carrots, but no worries there for sure!). At the initial consultation with the Dr. I discussed my sons history with chronic ear infections as a toddler, frequent treatment with antibiotics, dairy intolerance, chronic diarrhea(severe diaper rash caused by Candida overgrowth), and his mother(divorced w/shared parenting time) routinely dosing him with Ibuprofen on an almost daily basis. He also suffers from Autism. Not aware that the Dr. had treated him for the most common cause H. Pylori, I went for a confusing drive down the information superhighway. A week later, and a B.S. in Armchair Medical Googleology, I've come to the conclusion my son is most likely receiving the wrong treatment, or there is false negative result in the biopsy. Last night he had a violent outbreak of hives, 1st time ever. Guessing the Amoxicillin? My question is... where do i go from here with this? Could this be an issue related to a Candida overgrowth(yeast allergy a result of this)? Or a misuse of NSAID's? Something else entirely? I'm trying hard not to connect the pieces of this puzzle to the "Autism related protein intolerance/leaky gut/candida mumbo jumbo, but why shouldn't I? Please help, he's a sweet kid.

Was he tested for gluten issues? Asking because of the hives. Skin conditions can be cause by a variety of substances including foods. And dairy intolerance (casein, not lactose) is often a problem in those with gluten autoimmune problems - cross-reaction to casein)

How extensive was the allergy testing? Those with EE often have to follow a very, very strict diet because of multiple issues with foods.

Ibuprofen should not be given to anyone with stomach/gastritis problems, period. Could be the cause of the gastritis, but won't be known unless it's stopped and see what happens.

Well here I am, 7 years later, if your child is ever on a penecillin and gets hives, you should go to the doctor or  ER, and stop the medicine until doctor can assess.
