Well, personally I think I've been eating normal. However, I have completely cut off caffeine, only drinking water now, and I didn't start losing weight till I had my first panic attack around the beginning of the year. However, my nerves have been pretty good lately only with the occasional pop up. My mother, a nurse, also seems to think some of the weight loss could be attributed to malabsorption brought on my digestive issues. Again, because of the blood tests, the doc insisted that there should be no need to worry. However, if weight loss continues, I will certainly get a second opinion and blood test done.
Any doctor would be concerned when you start losing weight without trying. Is it possible that with your indigestion, maybe you're not eating as much as you think? If you are eating as much as before, and are not trying to lose weight, I would insist that this doctor either get concerned or get a second opinion.
