Gastritis and Delayed Stomach Emptying

Does gastritis cause the stomach to empty slower then normal? I had an h pylori infection which was eradicated. 5 weeks after treatment I was still having symptoms so I had an endoscopy and biopsy of my stomach showed moderate chronic gastritis in the antrum and that was all. Biopsy of my small intestine was normal. I feel like I have an upset stomach almost all the time and right after I eat my stomach feels upset, like what I'm eating isn't agreeing with me. This happens no matter what I eat. But then about 1.5-2 hours after I eat I start feeling kind of nauseous. I have NOT thrown up at all, not during or after the infection. Does gastritis cause that feeling of nausea that long after eating? Or is something more serious, like gastroparesis, going on?
Thank you :)

Not really, but often some sort of virus/parasite/etc. can set off gastroparesis.  For instance, my gastroparesis was set off by mono.

Does h pylori infection cause gastroparesis? I also have not had any heartburn or any acid reflux.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  You could still be recovering and your symptoms might improve with time.  This could be gastroparesis.  You can try a low-fiber low-fat diet with many small meals throughout the day to see if that helps.

**EDIT**
The nausea that comes on usually goes away in about 20 or 30 min, it doesn't last very long. Then I go back to that sort of upset stomach feeling.
