My relative has had extreme gastrointestinal bleeding (enough to fill the toilet), irregularly but semi-often, for the better part of the 2016 year. They recently underwent a colonoscopy to try and diagnose the issue, but it came up inconclusive.
In the past month since the procedure, they are now virtually unable to keep down any food; it is typically expelled via vomit and/or diarrhea between 30mins-2hrs after consumption.
The matter was concerning enough when it was the extreme bleeding, but now it's even moreso. None of the doctors or gastroenterologists in our town have any idea what's going on; we have no answers, nor are they even TRYING to dedicate any further efforts to find out what's wrong.
We need help. We desperately need to find an expert who has any idea of a diagnosis; someone who can possibly tell us what's wrong before things get any worse.
Please. I don't know why the site won't let me post this in the experts' forum, but we need an expert's help. We've been to so many doctors, with nothing but useless medical bills to show for it.
We just don't know what to do, anymore.
If nobody here can help, please suggest somewhere that can. Somewhere that will TRY to find a solution. Someone-- anyone-- who cares about diagnosing this life-compromising mystery.
