umbearable pain and swelling after all solid food

Just wondering if anyone could give me any clues to what this is. Every time I eat a solid 'normal' food it basically is not worth the pain. I get full even after a few mouth fulls, my stomach swells up to make me look pregnant I get sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen and dioahrea with undigested food about an hour after and this takes about 2 days to go down and stop hurting. The only food that doesn't cause this is porridge and coffee, my appetite has gone which is probably a good job as porridge and coffee is not enough to live off.

I would recommend asking for a gastric emptying scan.

Heya, thanks for the reply.
I have had a scan of my abdomen, which the doctor said was fine. I have had recent blood tests though, as in a previous test some elements were high- cant remember which ones though. In these tests though they are now checking for vitamin deficiencies and pernicious anaemia. Its still getting worse though as I have now lost half a stone in little under a week, when I was of a 'normal weight' anyway

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I would recommend seeing a gastroenterologist about this and getting some testing done.  You might want to get a gastric emptying scan which shows how quickly food leaves your stomach.
