Hi all question about gastroparesis

Dont know if i spelled that right or not, but iv been having some issues lately with fullness, nausea and dry heaving, with nothing coming out hours after eating.

I had an upper endo done, can that detect gastroparesis? Doc saw little redness, but nothing else.  If i had that, when i dry heave, wouldent food come back up instead of nothing?

Hi there I too had been diagnosed with gastroparesis, but medication did not help, further indications are that I have sphincter of oddi dysfunction, see if that may be what you have. I no longer can eat meat, fibrous veges and low fat diet.

Hi, it is possible to detect gastroparesis with endoscopy if your doctor has done additional tests. Another way to study is with a gastric-emptying study, which measures how long it takes for food to move through your stomach. In gastroparesis, the muscles in the wall of your stomach work poorly or not at all. This prevents your stomach from emptying properly. Gastroparesis can interfere with digestion, cause nausea vomiting and cause problems with blood sugar levels and nutrition. Diabetes can cause gastroparesis, please check with your doctor to rule out this condition. Regards.
