How long?

I have just being diagnosed with H Pyroli  I have been given Omeprazole and two different antibiotics. I am now on my fourth day of taking these. I still feel quite ill and very sick. What is concerning me more is the upper body pain which feels like I have been beaten!! Is this quite normal? When will the antibiotics do their job? I have been taking all the tabs religiously and following all the instructions. Has anybody else experienced this? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you for your time x

Kath, I'd like to urge you to call your doc just to check out the side-effects you're having. There are some antibiotics that in some individuals can cause very deleterious side-effects that mimic body aches and pain, but could be more than that. Being stoic is great, but if something is going on you might be hurting yourself in the long run. Please call.

Thank you for your comment. I am going to bear with the antibiotics as I have only three days left to take them . If I get any worse I will go to the doctor just hope that they eradicating the infection and I don't have to take more antiobiotics!! xx

Kath, the meds can have a different effect in everyone, but the overall feeling is typically one that's not very pleasant. But if you're having upper body pain, call your doc and report it. It could be the combination needs to be varied.
