I went to another E.R they did blood test, they came up pretty decent they said I have a severe case of gastritis. I've been given medicine to take and to follow up with a doctor. Hopefully this helps, they didn't do any x rays, CT scans, or ultrasound which I really wished they would have but we'll see what happens.
They gave me an IV I had a cat scan on my back not my abdomen because my back hurts, and they said it was bruising in my back.. which I have no clue where that would have came from. My bowels are out of sorts, the first day I went in I had diarrhea and that's why they believed it was just a bug but now I can barely go, it's like clay if that makes any sense. I've been keep track of everything, I spit up blood this morning which scared the living hell out of me. I'm thinking about going to a different E.R because the one I went too, didn't seem like they really cared much.

Did they run any tests on you: labwork, catscan, x-ray, etc? Since your a nursing student, did you listen for bowel sounds? Have you been having normal bowel movements? Are you constipated? Please go back to the ER - go to a different hospital if possible and let me know how your doing! I have a daughter 28 years old, who became sick at 25 and remains so, with dilated bowels since 10/08 and a g-tube to drain stomach fluids. (We spent 120 days in the hospital). She has, they say, something they never have seen before. We were in the Cleveland Clinic, and UPMC in Pittsburgh. I care - let me know how your doing. You have to get better - you have a 1st birthday party to plan soon.
