Intense Hunger and Nausea

I am a 25 year old female.  I have been experiencing the intense hunger pains many of you are describing accompanied by nausea.  It started with one or two episodes a month and has increased to almost daily.  I'll eat and feel sick.  I feel fatigued all the time and I'm having trouble studying for school.  All I want to do is lay around the house or sleep b/c that's the only time I don't feel sick.  I just started seeing a gastrointerologist...he did a full blood workup, including a thyroid test and an abdominal ultrasound and everything came back normal.  He prescribed phenegran to take at night for nausea and it helps but I still have the "hunger and nausea" episodes during the day.  I take pepto which helps too but I feel like these are all temporary solutions.  I'm supposed to see him again in a couple of days.  What do I do?

Endoscopy revealed non-errosive gastritis and they did a biopsy. I'll have the results in a few days.

Positive i'm not pregnant.  My periods are regular, i'm on the pill, and i've taken several pregnancy tests over the last year or so since this started.  Plus, nothing came up in my blood work or ultrasound.  That thought crossed my mind several times.

I went to the GI again today and he agrees that we should test for an ulcer...he also gave me a PPI to start taking (40 mg zenegrid) and he's doing an endoscopy on Tuesday.  I took the zenegrid this morning before i ate breakfast...so far so good.

The more I read, the more I think I have an ulcer too.  Can I ask how they diagnosed it?  What should I tell my doctor?  I explained all my symptoms...but the more I read the more i think my "intense hunger" is the pain of the ulcer burning up my stomach which explains why I feel sick when I eat.  Are you getting treatment for your ulcers now?  I hope that you feel better soon!

Sounds just like the 14 stomache ulcers I was diagnosed with.
