Is white foamy saliva an indication of reflux/GERD?

I have been having white foamy saliva for over a month now and my throat has a slight burning sensation in it sometimes. The white saliva seems to be giving my tongue a white coating also. The doctor first thought it was a fungal infection and gave me diflucan (2 150mg pills) and nystatin oral fluid, neither of them did anything at all so i stated to doubt is was a fungal infection since everyone says diflucan is very effective against fungus. My saliva is still white and I am trying to figure out if my saliva and tongue can be related to acid reflux. Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

I am also suffering from foamy saliva.  Also stomace trouble.  The doctor gave me all of above.  Nastan yeast etc.  Doctors really suck.  With all that training.  Anyway.  I now know that swollowing the foam creates air and so is burped out the rest must be digested.  I have even at times forced the foam out a burp filled with foam.

Drinking water helps, but will return unlless you drink the same amout each day.
Isaw one of you said di..? the place between jaw and ear.  I do have pain there and will now get it checked.

I feel better knowing others are dealing with things like me.  It ***** so I say sorry you and I suffer.

Will report back if I find a result.  Water seems to be the solution and when foamy get a cup and SPIT that **** out.  Curtis.

Hi there,

I also suffer from white/foamy saliva and occasional burping. White saliva also comes back after i remove it with a tongue cleaner. Not sure if this is related to anxiety, or something with the stomach. It does get worse when I am stressed out. Can you please share of you managed to successfully treat it - did you end up testing for H.Pylori? Thank you.

You probably don't drink enough water, that's why you are getting this foamy stuff in your mouth. Start drinking lots of water :D !

I have white foamy saliva as well as tightness in chest, small lumps on back of tongue (which doctor said was not cancer), feel full very fast when eating.  Was diagnosed with acid reflux and am taking pantoprazole sod and malox which is not helping.  Actually my middle section feels like it is going to burst because of the tightness.  Spent the weekend in emergency because it was thought I might be having a heart attack.  Heart, liver, gall bladder and kidneys all seem to be all right.  Supposed to get a gasterology appointment.
