weird but... what helped my spot kinda go away was Try heating up water.in a coffee cup.. and add ORGANIC apple cider vinager(must be organic)  and Raw honey. a tsp of both. Totally reliefs any comfort Ohh and also try yogurt and Flax seeds it actually helped me alot and its all natural stuff no pills. I would try it and it will relieve any cramping, discomfort or pain. Let me know if it works for u!

I am having my gallbladder removed because they have found the walls very swollen and it is surrounded by fluid. The thing is since I got the scan (yesterday) I am having a cramping feeling in my pancreas area, is this normal or symptonmatic of something worse?

I got the results of my Hida Scan on the 27th of August. My pancreas, liver and gallbladder are all fine, but I do have a plugged bile duct. They caught that by accident. I now have to go in on September 30th and have a special Endoscopy (ERCP), where they will put a dye in the duct and see what is causing the blockage. They will fix it when they are in there. I will be so happy to be pain free. This causes all the symptoms of a gallbladder attack. You can get this even if you don't have a gallbladder, but it's not very common. At least that is what my Doctor says. If you have a low e fraction rate, then your gallbladder must not be working. I would get a second opinion if I were you. You don't have to have stones for your gallbladder to be bad.

I had my Hida Scan on the 18th. Not bad at all, just boring. The tentative diagnosis is that I may have a plugged bile duct. See the doctor on the 27th to go over all the test and then go from there. Good Luck.

The pancreas, liver and gallbladder all work in tandem and when one is upset the others can be as well.  The bile ducts connect them all and issues can happen with those too.  Do get to the doctor and ask to have all of them checked for problems and inflammation.  I'm going for a HIDA scan to determine same problem for me on Sept. 4.  An ultrasoaund showed nothing so no gallstones but definitely a problem in that area.
