Please help serious unknown problem that has plagued me for years

For over 8 years I have been plagued with an issue that seriously affects my everyday life. The issue is no matter how well I clean myself after using the bathroom I will have a slimy discharge from my rectum that smells really bad. Even if I have not recently used the restroom it still occurs sometimes and because of it I make frequent stops on an hourly basis at public restrooms to clean my rectal area. I don't smell anything but when I let my guard down and am in public I will sometimes notice people are giving me bad looks and when I check myself in a restroom sure enough there is leakage with a bad odor. I once made an appointment with a gastro doctor, they didn't check for anything and simply told me to eat more fiber. I've changed my diet before and nothing changed. It has become something I live with but has taken away all my self worth and confidence. In my business if I don't get a sale I always think it's because of my issue and when people don't like me I always assume they smelled something or something, Etc.

Also I have frequent constipation where I won't use the bathroom anywhere from 2 days to 4-5 days. A lot of times when I do use the bathroom I feel like not everything came out, like I could have gone more. The feeling of having to go comes and goes if I do not sit down right away a lot of times the feeling goes away very quickly. Please help if anyone has any ideas of what could be the issue.

you must have some underlying issue because a change in diet would fix your constipation. try taking stool softeners and getting regular bathroom schedule and that may help with both of your symptoms. you said you went to a doctor once, but I believe you need to go again perhaps to another doctor. be pushy about your questions and have them written out before you go. make sure you get all your answers before you go. also go to multiple doctors and get different opinions. your health is important and worth the money especially when it affects all aspects of your life like this. i really hope you get better!
