Please help!!!!

Severe pain starts in left back side travels around to stomach, nausea, and at times vomiting, constipation, sometimes aches and chills but not always, started 4 yrs ago, would come at 3 to 4 mth intervals and last a week or two each yr comes closer and last longer.  Is now coming every two months and lasting a whole month or more.  The pain always starts in left side of back.  Been tested for everything all test negative. Tested for 700 diseases all neg.  Now they r playing a guessing game saying it can b 5 or 6 different things that don't show up on test,  trying diff. meds. for diff. things any suggestions?  Have been to several different Dr's. and hospitals for this, no one seems to know or can figure out what it is!!! Oh and food doesn't seem to play a part bc comes whether has eaten or not. Very frustrated and exhausting.  Thanks, David .

Did they do diagnostic imaging then of your pancreas & pancreatic ducts and left kidney?  Run any cancer marker blood tests?

David, when you're vomiting what are you bringing up? Any changes in liver and pancreatic enzyme levels - and were those levels mesured AT or close to the time you had the pain - within 12 hours?

Any GI issues run in your family?
