Prilosec health risks in perspective

Hello,

I would like some help putting my Prilosec worry into perspective.

For 5 months in 2007, as a 32-year-old male, I took 20mg of Prilosec twice a day to help with "silent reflux".

I've recently read a number of articles that speak of bone loss and kidney damage/failure and, as a somewhat fatalistic thinker, I've convinced myself that this 5-month course of Prilosec has caused me irreparable damage to my bones and kidneys.

Could someone on this board please help me to put this into some kind of perspective and get an idea of what the real risks were? How much damage could be done over the course of 5 months?

Thanks.
