Dr put me on IC Belladona, Was going for Bloodwork!

I am so confused. I was suppose to receive bloodwork this am, to see if there was any underlying possible colitis/crones. He decided no bloodowork today, and instead gave me belladona-phenobarbitol for cramping & gas as needed. This is fine but i will take only as needed. But why not the bloodwork? I went in with severe right side cramping, had mucous in stools this am, and last night lower abdomen pain.

Will anyone please suggest, that if this type of condition may require an anti-depressant or some counseling along with it? I do know that stress contributes to IBS..but the only stress i have is being home alone most of time whle hub works/ and fighting my food reactions.

I am somewhat upset that no more bloodwork was taken.

Thanx All

Isn't belladonna the hallucinogenic salve that witches used to use?
