Reactive hypoglycemia when blood sugar is normal?

I have had gastric dumping syndrome since 2013 due to my gallbladder being removed. For the last 10 months or so, I've been having a hard time with what I was told was reactive hypoglycemia. I get all the symptoms of hypoglycemia without having the low blood sugar. I addressed this issue with my GI doctor because I have been eating dairy and gluten free, eating 6 meals a day (now every two hours), and drink liquids between my meals. I do try to not eat sugar, eat a lot of meat when I can afford it, nuts, fruits, veggies, and I still get symptoms. They suggested I eat 40 grams of fiber. I have been trying to eat that much in a day, but seem to get very bloated every day even months after starting to eat more fiber, and the symptoms are still there.

Both of my parents are diabetic. My dad is type 2 and my mom is type 1. She was diabetic while she was pregnant with me. I have asked the doctors to check my pancreas several times for this issue and they said it was fine in the blood work. I am not sure if they had ever done an A1C test, which  I will check on, but they have done fasting blood sugars a couple times and checked lipase I believe. I have taken my blood sugar at all different times to see if I can actually catch my blood sugar falling below 70. It has never been below 75 and never above 145.

My question is: What is this? I don't know what questions to ask the doctors since I have already asked all of the ones I think I can. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Due to your sugar not actually being hypoglycemic (this is below 70) it's not likely reactive hypoglycemia. Reactive hypoglycemia is your sugar dropping within 4 hours after too many carbs eaten in non-diabetics.

Based on your having dumping syndrome, it's likely that it's what is causing your symptoms. It's called late dumping. It might be something you could check into.

A late dumping phase may happen about 1 to 3 hours after eating. Symptoms may include:

Fatigue or weakness
Flushing or sweating
Shakiness, dizziness, fainting, or passing out
Loss of concentration or mental confusion
Feelings of hunger
Rapid heartbeat

It's caused by a rapid change in blood sugar levels, but they don't necessarily have to be hypoglycemic to feel this.

I should mention too that the dumping syndrome was confirmed with the x ray test where I eat the radioactive eggs and they watch me digest.
