Rectal Bleeding and Abdominal Pain

Im a 28 year old female, Ive been having bright red rectal bleeding off and one for 6 weeks. I also have sharp pain that moves all over my stomach. When I sit too long it makes it worse. I have had a colonoscopy, a upper gi scope, small bowel xray series, ct with iv dye and one with the barium. I have had blood work done on 3 different occations. Everything is coming back normal. My primary doctor is out of guesses and I have been seeing a GI specialist who has been doing all the test. I just want some answers.

if this bleeding only during BM's then it my be a "Fisher hook" which basically means that it's just gonna happen from time to time & age usually doesn't help :/ I am only 19 but I have one. I could right a book with all my Gastric problems! Some they have figured out some they haven't I had all of those symptoms & they put me on a mild anti-depressant for my stomach! (weird right!?) I was amazed that it has worked but, it has actually done WONDERS! I no longer feel all the pain i used to! They explained the medicine to me like this:

Doc: "ever heard of the phrase go with your gut?"
Me: "yeah.."
Doc: "Well the serotonin you have in your brain that messes with your moods is also in your gut & can play with the way your stomach feels as well!"

I was fascinated; but that's beside the point, IT WORKS!
I cannot remember my official diagnosis but I hope this gives you some hope & maybe something to discuss with you doctor.. maybe if you tell him about my case he will know the medical term & be able to try this for you! (:
Best of luck!<3

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Have you had a rectal exam to look for hemmorhoids and other problems around your anus?  They will usually do a mini rectal exam during a colonoscopy, but they don't always.  Is the bleeding only when you have a bowel movement or at other times too?
