Ajeet, you should take the MRCP test.
Talk to your doctor about the exact diagnosis and what you should be doing with diet and the enzymes. And if you haven't had the MRCP test yet, it sounds like they haven't finished testing for what the cause is and they may not have a diagnosis at this time. Without that, it's hard to make any suggestions. For now, ask your doctor to tell you the foods you should and shouldn't eat, and take the enzymes. And stay away from any alcohol if they suspect pancreatitis.
thanks for your sujjestion.
can i should also take my mrcp test??
tell me some more things for controlling it plzzzzzzzzzzz
You need to know what caused it. Alcohol and gallstones are the two most common causes. I recently got acute pancreatitis from one of my medications, but that is less than 2% of cases. Best of luck!
If the doc prescribed Creon, it's possible the diagnosis could be pancreatitis, but you should ask your doctor for an exact diagnosis and also ask what diet you should be following for the condition you have. In general, most docs tell patients who have acute pancreatitis to follow a liquid diet for a period of time then slowly transition to a soft diet that is very low in fat. That can be followed up by changing back to a 'regular' low fat diet. The digestive enzymes - Creon - will be used to help to digest the food you take in.
