Should I get checked?

Hi,

I've experienced watery runs for about 5 days now. I've been drinking to keep hydrated and today, it switched from a watery consistency to a 'pudding' like consistency. I have the urge to go every time I eat. Is this something I should get checked for? Or will it run it's course?

When it started, I was achy. The aches are gone but feel tired and fatigued. Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks for the response! I went and they didn't find anything. I was a little nervous because I thought they'd find a bun in the oven randomly. But I think ER would check for pregnancy when they take all my blood tests, no?

stomach bugs can last from 1-10 days. can you pinpoint eating something sketchy in the last week? The fact that your BM consistency is changing leads me to believe a case of food poisoning that is running its course. Keep hydrated, eat easily digested foods (rice, banana, steamed veggies, steamed chicken, steamed light fish. I also suggest getting yourself a 10 billion live culture probiotic to help heal the gut. And water isnt good enough to rehydrate. go with coconut water.

Hi there.  You could have a virus, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.  If it persists, I would definitely see your doctor.  I'm sure that is uncomfortable and not fun to spend so much potty time!  Good luck
