Surgery?

I had a HIDA scan last week. My test came back negative. No gallstones but I have a slow drainage of bile either to or from the gallbladder (not sure which way). I have a familiy history of gallbladder problems. My mother and 3 sisters had gallstones and gallbladder removal. Does a slow drainage indicate the need for surgery? Sympoms include pain URQ under the ribcage. The pain can be intense at times but mostly uncomfortable. I can't lay on my right side when sleeping. The pain feels as if a C-clamp is piercing the front and back of my adomen.
Any suggestions?

Had a hida scan and all the other tests and when they finally did do emergency surgery found that gallbladder was full of tiny little stones. I could be that they are moving out and blocking bile ducts.
